Well, I would write a plugin if I had some information/a little example about registry hooking. I've started a topic at sysinternals forum about this, but there were no answer (actually there were one - the guy thought he is funny :fool: ). The other problem, I only know Delphi/Object Pascal (and a ...

At school we have a very-very limited user, so we can't add new registry values and there are predefined applications which can modify the registry, so there is no such workaround that we could simply add-remove anything we want. When I said there are places where you can't change the registry's HKC...

Halo man, so tell me how do you import reg files into the registry, if you don't have the rigthts to modify the registry? At least an option would be great, so everybody could decide himself, if he wants ini or registry. And don't tell me that is is sooooooo slow, because there are lots of programs ...

GUI version
I have found recently a file manager at http://www.relaxander.webest.net/index.php?id=1 The first thing that made me happy is that it has an interface 'mixed' from GUI and console. IMHO Far's development should go this way. (Maybe there should be no font issues, more than 16 colors...etc) Is there a...

Store settings in INI instead of registry
It would be very nice if the settings were stored in an ini,xml or whatever file instead of the registry because FAR could be used as a portable application. So we could use it on machines where there aren't rights to change the registry. PLZ change this.

drag and drop outside far
It would be nice if the files could be drag'n'droppable outside of FAR window. For example drag some mp3 files and drop onto WinAMP playlist.

USB drive not released
My problem is that if I copy from an USB pen drive, and I want to remove it from the system, it says that it cannot be removed, because the system uses it. I figured out, that it only occurs, if I use FAR Manager to look what files the drive has. Unfortunately if I close FAR Manager, the drive still...
