docertabum: WinSCP plugin supports SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol), which is not the same as SSL FTP . Have a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FTPS

Hi all, when i try to edit (F4) file which is very long and contains no line ends (tested with 2844 KB long one), editor's response is very slow. Opening a file took about 3 minutes. After pressing "right arrow", cursor didn't move for another 3 minutes, then i've killed Far. CPU load was ...

I tried Direct Directory plugin, and all saved dirs (I mean added in the list by Ins key) remained in the list after I've restarted FAR. You could also look in registry (HKCU/Software/FAR/Plugins/DirectDirectory) if saved directories appear (and remain) there. However, maybe plugin simply doesn't wo...
