Are you sure it stops its job? How do you judge?
Maybe it's just that Windows redraws Far screen less often?
pcAnywhere might well add to it.

At least the S&R sub-plugin named Transliterate works and has enough documentation. To play (around) or not to play is always up to you.

It's easy to record a macro that will disable all filters (CtrlI ShiftSubtract Enter). But I don't know a simple way to remember them beforehand and to re-enable them later.
