Thanks for the tip -- I actually did install that a month or two back. It's a very nice plugin, and does a lot of what I need, so it's gone a long way towards extending FAR in the manner I'd like (I have almost 10 panels "opened" using it right now :D).

Worrying about what future MS operating systems will or will not support is a waste of time, IMHO. And if the next MS OS won't run my favorite applications that make Windows a half-way decent OS today, well, I just might not upgrade to that next OS. There's a difference between worry and concern. I...

I've been watching this thread for a while, but only just now have decided to toss in my opinion. So, here goes. There are only 4 or 5 programs that I consider must have's, and FAR is definitely one of those (I've lost track of how may years I've been using it, but it has to be at least 5 by now). O...

His email ID is included in the docs, but I figured that the functions to draw dialogs and windows were provided by FAR in it's own API. And if that is true then it seemed like it would be something related to FAR, not necessarily to a plugin using those API functions, so that's why I posted it here...

Minor window border problem

I found a very minor display bug. When using the Macro Viewer (I think it's from Konstantin Melnikov?) the entire border of the window isn't fully drawn when you run the plugin until you hit a cursor movement key (like up, down, pgdn, etc). I've attached a picture so you can see what I mean. I've tr...

Registering FAR

4 days ago I paid to register my copy of FAR using the Share it! service. The message I got from them was that I would have my registration key within 2 days, which didn't happen. I tried sending an email to support@rarlab.com, which Share it! said I should do if I don't receive my key in 2 days, bu...

Really?? That seems like a huge omission. FAR can obviously handle many, many files for editing and viewing, so it just seems natural that it could also do the same with panels. Do you know if there are any plans to have FAR handle multiple file panels? That would be tremendous update, IMHO. I'll ch...

Multiple File Panels

How can I have multiple file panels in one instance of FAR? I can load a ton of files for editing and viewing, and they all appear in the Screen List (F12). Switching back and forth between them is a breeze, but I can't seem to do the same with the file panels. I've searched this forum, looked throu...

EditStat plugin error

Don't know if this is the correct place to post about a plugin error, but... The EditStat plugin from Anton Geleznyak causes errors with builds 2031 and 2039 (it might be a problem with other builds too, but those are the only 2 I have). I'm running Win98SE on a Dell desktop. With EditStat installed...
