Hey guys,

unicode support is absolutely most important and most wanted feature in FAR manager. So where's the problem?

It's only because of support for Windows 98? Forget Windows 98, Just make good functionality (aka normal functionality in other file managers) for actual systems like Windows XP, Windows Vista maybe also for Linux.

If is needed to install some plugin, so attach it into default installation.

There is also "MS Layer for Unicode" http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en

I suppose it is quite difficult to modify ANSI-FAR to Unicode-FAR.

Besides, importance is a relative thing. I couldn't care less about Unicode but I would definitely like to see e.g. a support for anything-else-than-registry for settings storage.
