Data and time not displayd in ZIP archives in FAR RC 2083

Post by jonib »

Hi

Using the new FAR and entering an Zip archive I don't see any date or time info, RAR seems to work correctly.

And another thing my custom "Custom.ini" file in MultiArc\Formats dir was overwritten I hope this is a bug too.

Well the installer is not that smart. It is mostly for total newbies. And you should back up your settings prior to install.

Hi everybody!

Good to see the progress in FAR development, thanks!

Same experience. The attached zip.fmt does not remove the bug. I've reverted to the previous version of MultiArc (and .fmt files).

It would be great to have an alternative distribution, without installer, just the big .zip (or .rar or whatever) archive file for not-so-total-newbies :D Same way as alphas are distributed...

After some consideration this was fixed.

Check it in RC3. It asks you if to overwrite and even when overwriting creates a backup of your old custom.ini

No problem at all in 1.70 release, all works fine with included MultiArc.
