disable filters?

Post by mrQQ »

hello,

is it possible to disable all panel filters, and then re-enable them with a hotkey?

It's easy to record a macro that will disable all filters (CtrlI ShiftSubtract Enter). But I don't know a simple way to remember them beforehand and to re-enable them later.

Hm, enable/disable without deselecting the filters might be a good idea. I'll think about it.

thanks :) i think it would be perfect to add a checkbox to ctrl+f12 menu, along with use sort groups, show selected first etc :)

I disagree. CtrlF12 opens the “Sort by” menu; it has little to do with filters. Filters rather have a dedicated menu; the switch should be placed there.
My opinion is that both filters “master switch” and folders filtering mode should reside in a separate section of the “Filters” menu, each dubbed by a hotkey.
